how we work
Five rules for learning that survives in the real world.
At Chunk LD, we operate on a core belief: learning should be designed around the change people need to make, not merely the content they need to receive.
Start with the change, not the request.
A topic, deck, or format is simply where the conversation starts. Design work should start from what people need to think or do differently.
Every activity must earn its place.
Learners need the kind of practice, thinking, or application the outcome actually calls for. Each task should move them towards the desired change.
Every part must connect to the whole.
Shape the flow, sequence, rhythm, and connections intentionally. Learners need to see what matters, how things build, and where they are heading.
Design for real people, not ideal learners.
People bring experience, pressure, doubt, motivation, and limited attention. Good design accounts for that reality.
Make it work where it matters.
Learning should fit not only where people learn, but also where they will actually use it.
